Kia Ora and welcome to the Victoria Avenue School website.  It is our hope that you will not only find our site informative and visually interesting but that it will give you a glimpse of just what it is that makes VAS such a very special place to be.

We have a great deal to look forward to in 2011 not least of which is the completion of our Junior School redevelopment.  Over the past year we have built two new classrooms, refurbished a further five and the Board of Trustees and Parents are working hard to raise the necessary funds that will enable us to realise our vision of completing the project by building the planned decks to the rear of the buildings and shading cover around Rooms 11-14.

Central to our financial and social planning for 2011 was the School Gala, which took place on Sunday 3rd April. Our first Gala in 2009 was a huge success both for our school and local community, the 2011 version raised the bar even more. This fantastic event enabled us to complete the work on the Junior School decking and was a great community event.

One of the popular features of the site is an online shop. It was initially designed for uniform purchases but is now proving versatile in several other areas.  It recently served its 1000th customer and looks set to be a permanent fixture of this site.
